Create maps with MapStudio WebApp |
MapStudio is a brand-new online map application, supporting more flexible map style configuration, to assist users to create stunning map applications.
Log in to iPortal, you can access MapStudio via the following two ways. To normally experience MapStudio, please make sure that your user type is the "creator" type and that you have the role of creating, updating, and deleting maps, such as a PORTAL_USER role. For the user types and permissions of iPortal, see: Roles, user types and permissions.
Enter Resource Center > Map page, click Create Map on the right, and select MapStudio in the drop-down list.
On the "App Center" page, click the MapStudio logo on the left sidebar, and click "New" on the welcome page on the right to enter the MapStudio page
The general workflow of using MapStudio is: select basemap, add layer (data), configure layer style, save and share. The basemap supports traditional basemaps and solid color basemaps. For layers, you can add a map from iServer REST map service, vector tile service, or "My Service" in the portal as a layer, or upload data as a layer to add on the basemap. Layers support operations such as setting display and hiding, adjusting the display order of layers, renaming, removing, zooming to, etc., supporting viewing attribute details and modifying layer display styles.
Note: Before using MapStudio, the portal administrator can perform MapStudio configuration and structured data configuration (The upload data function requires).
