On the "My Data" page, you can find data through the search box, or tags filter on the left side of the page. The right pane displays matched results, and you can toggle the list/grid view mode to view, change the sort field (supports sorting by modification time and download count), and ascending/descending order. You can manage data resources individually or manage in batches. You can also create private directories to categorize data. In addition, you can click "Upload/Register Data" on the right to add new data resources to the portal.
For data resources that have been added to the portal, specifically, you can perform the following operations:
- Publish services: The data uploaded to the portal supports publishing services. For supported service type, see: Table 1 The corresponding relationship of data type, data files, supported published service type and download format. Click the "Publish" button in the data item, select the type of service to be published in the "Publish Service" pop-up window, and click "OK" to start publishing the service immediately. After the service is published, the published service will be listed in the data item. You can click the service link to view the details.
- Update data: Click the "Update" button in the data item, click "Select File" next to "Data File" on the "Update Data" page, choose the target data and confirm in the pop-up window that opens, and finally click the "Upload" button at the bottom, and wait for the updating process to complete. If the data contains published services, after the update operation, the services will be published automatically and the service name will remain unchanged.
- Download data: Click the "Download" button in the data item and select the corresponding data format to download the data. For supported download formats, see:Table 1 The corresponding relationship of data type, data files, supported published service type and download format.
- View data details: Click the data thumbnail or the data name to enter the data details page. On the data details page, you can view the basic information of the current data, such as: data type, data bounds, coordinate system, data provider, update time, file size, published service. In addition, you can click the "Edit Attributes" button to edit the metadata of the data, or "Delete" data. Switch to the "Sharing" tab, you can view/modify the sharing scope of the current data.
- Edit metadata information: Click the "Edit Attributes" button, you can edit the metadata of the current data, including the thumbnail, name, tags, description, data bounds, coordinate system, map preview URL, and data provider.
- Share data: Sharing scopes include private, public, and specified people. Supports single data sharing and batch sharing. For detailed introduction and operation steps, please refer to: Share data.
- Delete data: Supports deletion of single data and batch deletion. Note: When the data is deleted, the published services of the data will also be deleted; the maps, insights and dashboards created based on the data won't display normally. For details, please refer to:Delete resources.
- Edit private directory: The My Data resources page supports the creation of a personal private directory, which is only visible to yourself, for you to categorize and organize your data. The "My Directory" filter in the left sidebar of the My Data page is a private directory, which has two non-editable sub-directories: "All" and "Uncategorized"; "All" sub-directory contains all your data, "Uncategorized" sub-directory contains all data not assigned to other directories. The "DataViz" and "DataInsights" directories are the default storage directories for data uploaded via DataViz WebApp and DataInsights WebApp, which can be changed by iPortal administrators through DataViz configuration and DataInsights configuration. In addition, private directories also support the following edit operations:
- Create a directory: Click the +icon on the right side of "My Directory" to create a new data directory; on the existing data directory, click the and select "Add Directory" to create a sub-directory of the directory.
- Rename directory: Click the icon to the right of an existing data directory and select "Rename" to modify the directory name.
- Delete directory: Click the icon on the right side of an existing data directory and select "Delete" to delete the directory. After deletion, the data in the directory will be moved to the "Uncategorized" directory.
- Move to: Check data items, click the "Move" button on top, select a target directory, the checked data items will be moved to the target directory.
