On the "My Maps" page, you can find maps through the search box, or tags filter on the left side of the page. The right pane displays matched results, and you can toggle the list/grid view mode to view, change the sort field (supports sorting by modification time and visits), and ascending/descending order. You can manage map resources individually or manage in batches. In addition, you can click "Create Map" on the right to add new map resources to the portal.
Note: The number of maps you can create is unlimited by default. If your administrator has set a quota, the page will display your quota usage with a progress bar. When the number of created maps reaches the quota limit, you won't be able to create any longer. At this time, you can contact your administrator to increase the quota, or delete some maps to free up quota space.
For map resources that have been added to the portal, specifically, you can perform the following operations:
- View map details: Click the map name to enter the map details page. On the map details page, you can view the basic information of the current map, such as: coordinate information, center point, map range, modified time, etc., layers list of the map. In addition, you can click the "Edit Attributes" button to edit the metadata of the map, "Open Map"or "Delete" map. Switch to the "Sharing" tab, you can view/modify the sharing scope of the current map.
- Edit metadata information: Click the "Edit Attributes" button, you can edit the metadata of the current map, including the thumbnail, name, tags, and description.
- View/edit map with WebApp: Click "Open Map" to browse the map in the DataViz or MapStudio WebApp. After opening the map, click the "Edit" button in the upper left corner to enter the edit mode. You can also click the "Edit Map" button on the maps list page to directly enter the editing mode of the DataViz or MapStudio WebApp.
- Share map: Sharing scopes include private, public, and specified people. Supports single map sharing and batch sharing. For detailed introduction and operation steps, please refer to: Share map.
- Delete map: Supports deletion of a single map and batch deletion. Note: When a map is deleted, the dashboard created by using the map will not be able to display the map. For details, see: Delete resources.
