Sharing of GPA models to other users for access is supported for private, public retrieval/download (execution)/editing, and only specifier retrieval/download (execution)/editing. Sharing settings are available in the processing automation modeling app. For GPA models that have been added to the portal, you can also log in iPortal and set up sharing in "Resource Center" > "GPA model" > "My GPA model". Once the sharing settings are completed, the corresponding user can share the GPA model from the "Resource Center"> "GPA model"> "Public"/"Share to me "/"My organizations"/"My groups" to see the shared resources.
GPA model sharing scope
- Private: When sharing is not enabled, the resource is private. At this time, only the creator of the resource and administrators with administrative privileges can view/edit/delete the resource, view/edit the resource details, and change the sharing settings.
- Public search: All users (including anonymous users) can search for resource and view the resource details, but not the resource. To view the resource, the shared person needs to make a Resource authorization request.
- When setting public search permissions for resources, it supports setting viewing permissions for specific departments/groups/users.
- Public download/execution: All users (including anonymous users) can download or execute GPA model resources.
- Public editor: All users (only logged-in users) can edit resources and details.
- Restricted to specified personnel for search/download (execution)/editing: The designee can be a department, a group, or a specific user.
- When you select "Search/Download(execute)/edit only by specified Person", only the specified department/group/user can access the "Resource Center"> "GPA model"> "Public"/"Share with me" in Search /View/Edit shared resources.
- Specify the department option, requiring the administrator to enable the organization structure (default disabled state),and turn on the shared to department configuration item in the iportal.xml configuration file(not turned on by default).
- Specify the group option, which requires that you have joined at least one group (either as a group creator or as a group member) and have permission to contribute resources. That is, this configuration will only list the groups to which you have permission to contribute resources. For more information on creating, joining and using groups, see: Groups. It is also necessary for the administrator to turn on the share to group configuration item in the iportal.xml configuration file (turned on by default).
- The specify users option requires the administrator to turn on the configuration entry for sharing to the specified users in the iportal.xml configuration file (turned on by default). The administrator can also configure in the iportal.xml configuration file whether to list all users when sharing to the specified user. If the portal has a large number of users, the administrator can also set the username search mode to fuzzy match in the iportal.xml configuration file to improve the efficiency of the search.
